October 2013: Strength & Conditioning Facility

The Contract which was tendered as part of the Limerick Institute of Technology Building Contractor Framework’s Select list involves the construction of a new 2,800sqm Strength and conditioning facility . The building on completion will consist of a double height space S&C hall, indoor 5 lane 45m running track, viewing gallery with tiered seating, changing rooms, shower & w/c facilities, and teaching spaces on the first floor. The fit-out aspect of the contract included finishes to wall, floors including a Mondo Sports Flooring system, internal joinery, doors and partitioning, a suspended grid acoustic ceiling, fitted and loose furniture including desks, chairs, specialist sports equipment.
