August 2012: Successful Handover of School Development

The €3m extension and refurbishment was successfully handed over to the Board of Management in July.

The contract involved construction of a new two storey classroom extension to the south of existing school, providing an additional 12 new classrooms, offices, administration rooms and staff areas. The new school provides a mix of accommodation including Science and Computer Laboratories, Lecture rooms, offices, administration rooms, library and communal areas. The project also involved substantial refurbishment to the existing school , which remained in operation. Works were phased and temporary accommodation provided for the duration of the project.
