Construction of a refuge centre with living and sleeping accommodation constructed for women and children in vulnerable situations provides 7no. bed units, communal childcare area, admin offices, meeting areas, communal kitchen and an enclosed secure play area. The building was constructed to the highest standards with a strong focus on the security of the finished facility and the creation of a safe and stable refuge.

The project was designed in modern style and incorporates the use of traditional materials such as brick and natural slate with modern elements such as curtain walling and pigmented renders. The interior was fitted out to turn key status for our client, which included soils and wastes, water services, air conditioning and ventilation, mains and power distribution, communication services, bespoke lighting, lift installation, floor, ceiling and wall finishes along with bespoke joinery.
