This building is currently the largest passive housing scheme in Ireland to date.  This project involved the refurbishment and reconfiguration of ground and first floor apartments, along with a second floor extension and associated works. The 34 Apartments are sheltered accommodation for tenants within the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council area.

Works include Installation of “ParexLanko Pariso Mince” external wall insulation, Combined Heat and Power (CHP), Heat Recovery, Energy Efficient Lighting, Triple Glazing.

The high quality design in relation to the conservation of fuel and energy required a detailed and methodical approach to testing and verification of the achieved U-values and air tightness of the building.
